A: At BCS, we strive to provide the best service quality in order to get best surgical result. With BCS team, you will find the qualified doctors with the long experience in this field. Most of them are faculty members at Chulalongkorn University, one of the most famous medical schools in the region. All equipment is state-of-the art and is imported almost entirely from the US and Europe.
Our services do not end after patient left Thailand, we commit to the satisfaction of our patients. We have supporting team to follow up and discuss with our patients on any issue that may arise.
Results & Complications
Q: How would doctor handle my case if I have any complications?
A: In such case you should contact BCS directly to seek advice. If the complications cannot be explained over the telephone, you may e-mail the photo to BCS.
You will receive specific instructions of how to care of yourself after the surgery. Following those instructions is key to the success of your surgery.
However, experiences of our BCS team will help minimize the complications.
Should you need any corrective surgery; no additional doctor fee will be charged.
Extra/additional charges
Q: What's included/not included in the package price at BCS?
Are there any extra or additional charges to the package price?
A: You can check what is included/not included for each package from the website. The package price usually covered what is required for the procedure including routine pre-operative investigations, operating room charges, required medical equipment and medical supplies, hospital stay, medication, anesthesiologist fee and surgeon fee.
BCS can help you arrange all transportations such as airport transfer and/or hotel reservation during your visit. We had special arrangement with several hotels/apartment nearby BCS. From those hotels, you can easily commute to BCS by BTS Sky train and/or MRT train.
Additional charges may incur such as transportation fee, long distance call charge, etc. We will let you know all the costs as per your request in the request form before your arrival. In addition, where you request for something additional after your arrival, which you have never requested before we will let you know the cost and ask you to sign the invoice before hand.
Booking/Postpone/Cancel the surgery
Q: How far in advance that I need to book my surgery?
A: You should schedule your surgery once you have made up your mind. The sooner you schedule your date, the better you will get the date or period that you requested for. We shall confirm the earliest possible convenient date to you via e-mail. You should also proceed with your ticket reservation, visa application (if needed) and/or hotel reservation (if you decided to book it yourself).
Q: If I need to cancel my surgery, what will be BCS policy?
A: This depends on the reason for canceling. If you let us know 15 days prior to the surgery, we will refund the deposit to your account. However, half of your deposit may not be returned because all incurred administrative expenses. You will need to also cancel all the booking that was done on your end.
Q : Can I expect the refund if I decide not to undertake my surgery when
I have arrived in Bangkok, or I am told that I should not undertake my surgery?
A: In case after you arrive and discuss with Dr.Pichit and his advice is for you not to undertake the surgery, half of your deposit may not be returned for the consultation and administrative expenses.
If you decide not to undertake the surgery after you have arrived, for any reasons other than the surgeon?s recommendation, BCS will not refund any part of your invoice.
My recovery
Q: Do I need to stay overnight in the hospital? If yes, for how many days?
Can I stay in the hotel after my surgery? How many days do I need to be
in BKK before I can go home?
A: The reasons why we want you to stay overnight because we can take care of your post-op recovery in the most suitable place where professional staff and all services are available at anytime. The staffs can also answer your questions that may arise during your recovery.
You can stay in a private hospital room without any additional charges for number of nights informed in the package. If you feel more convenience to stay longer, it is only US$ 200/day.
However, if you feel more comfortable to have your recovery in your hotel/apartment and your surgeon agree with that, you may be discharged from the hospital sooner. You will still have access to the BCS staffs during your recovery period.
English Language
Q: Why would I need the interpreter?
A: Our primary communication language will be English. We can arrange Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, German or Korean interpreter to help you during your consultation. If you require an interpreter other than English, please make it clear before hand in the request form.
Mobile Phone
Q: Is there any additional charge for using the mobile phone?
A: The phone is prepaid (approximate US$ 10.00) or domestic talk time about 100 min, when you receive it, which is free for you to use. You will be able to make local and long distance (not international) call with your phone. Once you exceed the credit limit, you may purchase the pre-paid phone card from the retail store or from BCS staff.

You may return the mobile phone at the last visit before you fly back.
Visa
Q: Do I need visa for my trip to Thailand?
A: A tourist visa is not required for visitor from most countries including Australia, Japan, Korea, Spain, France, the US and the UK, etc. Please check the detail at www.thaiembassy.com
Weather
Q: What type of cloth should I wear when I'm in Bangkok?
A: Light, loose cotton clothing or clothing with good ventilation is appropriate most of the time through out the year. For comprehensive 5-day forecast go to http://www.weather.com where you can type Bangkok under the city name.
Electricity
Q: Can I use my electrical appliances in Thailand?
A: Voltage in Thailand is 220 V. You may not want to use your electrical appliances from Europe or US unless you have adapter to plug in.
Insurance
Q: Should I buy travel insurance from my home country?
A: Yes, we recommended you to have adequate travel insurance. Most travel insurance cover theft, loss, accident and medical problems. Check with your insurance company for the coverage.
