About Rhinoplasty Procedure:
The incision is inside the nose allows dissection along the nose is done to create the appropriate space for silicone implant. Soft medical-grade silicone implant is carved intraoperatively and inserted through an incision inside the nose, to increase the height of the nose and refine nasal tip projection.
Good candidates are:
- Adolescents over the age of 13
- Healthy individuals who do not have a life-threatening illness or medical conditions that can impair healing

Tell your doctor if you have: any previous nose surgery or an injury to your nose, even if it was many years ago. You should also inform your surgeon if you have any allergies or breathing difficulties; if you're taking any medications, vitamins, or recreational drugs; and if you smoke. |

The success and safety of your nose surgery depends very much on your thorough discussion with your consultation. Be prepared to ask and discuss about your expectations, desired outcome, health history and lifestyle.

Prepare for the surgery:

Possible Risks and Complications:
Your plastic surgeon and/or staff will explain in detail the risks associated with surgery. You will be asked to sign consent forms to ensure that you fully understand the procedure you will undergo and any risks or potential complications.
Risks and risk rates vary from patient to patient depending on a range of factors. The risks listed below are possible risks associated with this type of surgery and are mentioned regardless of how remote the possibility

- Rupture of small surface vessels of the nose
- Infection
- Poor wound healing
- Extrusion of implant
- Anesthesia risks
- Bleeding (hematoma)
- Nose asymmetry
- Change in skin sensation (numbness)
- Nasal airway alterations may occur after a rhinoplasty or septoplasty that may interfere with normal passage of air through the nose
- Nasal septal perforation (a hole in the nasal septum) may develop but is rare; additional surgical treatment may be necessary to repair the nasal septum but in some cases, it may be impossible to correct this complication
- Pain, which may persist
- Unfavorable scarring
- Skin contour irregularities
- Skin discoloration and swelling
- Sutures may spontaneously surface through the skin, become visible or produce irritation that require removal
- Possibility of revisional surgery
Surgery: time required 1 – 2 hours
My Recovery:
Following your surgery, dressings or bandages may be applied to your incisions, and you may be wrapped in an elastic bandage or a compression garment to minimize swelling and to support your abdomen as it heals.
A small, thin tube may be temporarily placed under the skin to drain any excess blood or fluid that may collect.
Previous abdominal surgery may limit the potential results of a tummy tuck. In women who have undergone cesarean section, the existing scars may often be incorporated into the new scar. |
