About Mini Face Lift:
An incision within the natural crease of the upper eyelid allows access to remove excess skin, muscle and underlying fatty tissue. Using an incision inside the lower eyelid, fat is removed or redistributed and muscle modified to correct a baggy lower eyelid.
An incision just below the lower lash line allows excess skin to be removed without noticeable scar.
Good Candidates are:
Men and women who are physically healthy, over the age of 40 with good bone structure but with drooping brows, upper eyelids, and sagging skin on the forehead.

The success and safety of your mini face lift depends very much on your thorough discussion with your surgeon. Be prepared to ask and discuss about your expectations, desired outcome, health history and lifestyle.

Prepare for the surgery:

Possible Risks and Complications:
Your plastic surgeon and/or staff will explain in detail the risks associated with surgery. You will be asked to sign consent forms to ensure that you fully understand the procedure you will undergo and any risks and potential complications.

- Unfavorable scarring
- Bleeding (hematoma)
- Infection
- Poor wound healing
- Anesthesia risks
- Blood clots
- Correctable hair loss at the incisions
- Elevated hairline
- Skin loss
- Numbness or other changes in skin sensation or intense itching
- Changes in skin sensation
- Fluid accumulation
- Pain, which may persist
- Skin contour irregularities
- Skin discoloration and swelling
- Sutures may spontaneously surface through the skin, become visible or produce irritation that require removal
- Possibility of revisional surgery
Surgery: time required 1/2-1 hour
My Recovery:
When your procedure is completed, your head may be loosely wrapped to minimize swelling and bruising. A thin tube may be present to drain any excess blood or fluid that may collect under the skin.
The results of forehead lift surgery will appear gradually as swelling and bruising subside.

Following your physician’s instruction is key to the success of your surgery. It is important that the surgical incisions are not subjected to excessive force, abrasion, or motion during the time of healing. Avoid wearing any clothing that must go over your head. Your doctor will give you specific instructions on how to care for yourself.
Your specific instructions may include: how to care for the surgical site, medication to apply or take orally to aid healing and reduce the potential for infection, specific concerns to look for at the surgical site or in overall health, and when to follow up with you plastic surgeon.
